MOMA’s Creativity Lab Opening

The MOMA Creativity Lab’s opening with The Rafael Tufiño Printmaking Workshop was on August 9th. This was a historic night for all the artist to celebrate the culture as well as our creativity. The task was to create banners that showcase our history as well as our fight for social justice. Renowned artist and printmaking master Nitza Tufiño lead the way by exhibiting Taller Boricuas history with a combination of photos, posters and solar plate print designs. The group all did two prints on cloth that decorated the Creativity Lab. I was honored to have my two prints highlighting the book display along side artist Felix Plaza and Albert Justiniano.
